Bridal Store Relocates to Central Park

Fredericksburg, Va. – Simply Modern Bridal has signed a 5,000-square-foot lease for retail space near Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches on Carl D. Silver Parkway at Central Park in Fredericksburg.

Local owner Teresa Puckerin, from Fredericksburg, says she hopes to be open this December.

“Simply Modern Bridal is a fantastic addition to Central Park,” explained Shawn Carrington, Rappapport Retail Brokerage’s leasing representative. “The owners were looking for a space that would put their boutique front and center and the former S&K Menswear space does just that.”

Simply Modern Bridal specializes in bridal apparel, including wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and tuxedo rentals. The new store layout will include stages and family seating areas similar to those featured on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” show. The bridal store is relocating from Gateway Shopping Center in Fredericksburg.

Simply Modern Bridal was represented by Vallerie Kettl of Keller Williams in the transaction, and Carrington represented the landlord.

Central Park is a 2.5-million-square-foot power center featuring more than 200 retailers and restaurants, including Old Navy, Target, Lowe’s, Kohl’s and Best Buy. The center is right off I-95, on Route 3 in Fredericksburg. Central Park is managed by The Rappaport Companies.
