Festival at Riva Donates $1,000 to Belvedere Elementary

Festival at Riva merchants donated $1,000 this week to Belvedere Elementary School.

The donation will be used to enhance the technology department, according to Susan Errichiello, principal of Belvedere Elementary.

The donation was given as part of the center’s holiday shopping spree promotion, which included a $1,000 shopping spree drawing and a donation to a local school. Shopping spree winner Rebecca Dunn of Arnold chose Belvedere as her favorite school.

“Our school thanks Rebecca Dunn and the merchants at Festival at Riva for contributing to the growth of our students,” said Errichiello.

This is the second year Festival at Riva has donated funds to a local school and this is the first time Belvedere Elementary School has won. Germantown Elementary School won last year.

Festival at Riva is at the intersection of Forest Drive and Riva Road in Annapolis. The center includes Giant, Michael’s and T.J. Maxx. The Rappaport Companies provides property management, leasing and marketing services for the center. Festival at Riva is owned by American Realty Advisors.
