Major Renovations Complete at Goshen Plaza

Upgrades made to shopping center exterior, landscape and parking lot

MCLEAN, Va. (December 29, 2015) Elion Partners announced it has completed a major capital improvement program for Goshen Plaza in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The 45,654 square-foot, CVS-anchored shopping center has undergone significant upgrades to its exterior, landscaping and parking lots.

"Goshen Plaza is in a very sought-after location in Gaithersburg," says Jim Farrell, Executive Director of Leasing and Brokerage at Rappaport, who provides property management, asset management and leasing strategy services for Goshen Plaza." These renovations will only add to its appeal. The location and mix of national tenants, like McDonalds, Subway and Pizza Hut make it a very attractive choice for business owners."

The capital improvement program included repaving of the front parking lot, and painting of the shopping center. Painting was also done to the metal roofing and the EIFS on the sign band. New soffit and beams wrapped in stained wood were installed under the canopy and a new light line was installed along the roof. The landscaping received a complete overhaul. Shrubs along the perimeter were trimmed down to allow for an open sightline and enhance visibility, and new trees, flowers and shrubbery were installed in the islands and along the front entrances to the center.

Goshen Plaza is located at the signalized intersection of Goshen Road and Rothbury Road in Gaithersburg. Merchants include CVS Pharmacy, McDonalds, Subway, Paisano's, and Pizza Hut.
